We install a wide variety of transmission media which covers twisted pair, coaxial and fiber optic cabling. As the certified installer for NEXAN, Avaya, Clipsal, AMP and Krone, we can assure you the performance of your structured cabling systems. What's more, we also have the expertise to install complementary equipment like AC/DC power supplies, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), networking equipment, racks, video cameras, projectors, audio and visual display systems. We evaluate your cabling infrastructure requirements by looking not only at the immediate business communication requirements but also take into considerations of future growth requirements & technology trends. Our manager is a Certified Data Centre Professional. He will address how to setup and improve key aspects such as power, cooling, security, cabling, safety, etc, to ensure a high availability data centre. The key operations and maintenance aspect will be also addressed! We translate the design for the integrated cabling infrastructure into specific technical requirements and product specifications. We then apprise the proposed design to the customer and make modifications accordingly (if any) to ensure that it can be delivered within the budget. We offer project management service for the delivery of your cabling infrastructure with the aim to optimize resources, manpower, technology and process resources.
We characterize the entire physical site layout which covers manholes, telecommunication rooms, entry facilities, risers, pathways, power facility, HVAC as well as structural requirements that will be incorporated into the design. The information gather during the site survey will be incorporated as part of the design and reviewed accordingly to ensure compliance with the relevant standards. We perform end-to-end testing of the entire cabling infrastructure to ensure compliance with the relevant standards. We have invested significantly in testing equipment which includes CAT 6 tester, OTDR, network analyzer, video analyzer etc. to offer accurate and comprehensive assessment of the cabling infrastructure. Our testing equipment are calibrated by the respective manufacturers on a regular basis to ensure the highest accuracy for test measurement. We offer optional maintenance service that can be customized to your operational requirements for cabling infrastructure.

About Us

Convergent Engineering (Registration No. 200404603W, formerly known as Convergent Networks) was established on 16 Apr 2004 with the mission to providing complete and integrated cabling infrastructure for voice, data and video communications. With the rapid evolution of Internet Protocol (IP) technologies, many organizations are starting to migrate their business communication systems to the IP platform. In most cases, the implementation will be challenging due to the need of engaging multiple contractors to undertake different scopes of services.
